The current advanced level literature program in secondary high schools i.e allthe drama, prose and poetry texts,Literary appreciation of unscen poems and prose texts

EXAMINATION

  • Language

-         Readingcomprehensionexercise, Writing : Candidates may also be required to write an essay of300-500words on a given topic Speaking and listening : candidates who pass the written part of the examination will be expected to take part in an oral examination based on general knowledge on literatery issues as well as basic skills in English. and French

  • Literature

-         Literary appreciation: Candidates will be required to read and appreciate andappreciation poem or an unseen prose text, Essay question : Candidates will have a choice ofessayquestions to answer one or more, using their knowledge of advanced level literature texts for the year in which the examination is taking place.
